Remembering Jack

Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. ~ Matthew 5:16

I've known Jack for almost 30 years and worked with him side by side. I don't think I knew him any better than anyone else, Jack was just Jack. There was no pretense in his life. He had one of the longest fuses of anyone I have ever met. He loved people. He had an incredible gift of relating to people. It didn't matter if they were rich or poor, suburbanite or ghetto. It didn't really matter if they were Hispanic, Laotian or Hmung. He connected with people. Jack was really the heart and soul of The Milwaukee Outreach Center. ~ Bob Books, co-founder of TMOC

What I loved about Jack was that he could be intensely concerned about things but never riled. ~ Harry Gamm

The reason Jack was so effective among us was that he didn't have an ego. His ministry was constructed to make other people look good. ~ Marc Erikson

We were blessed for so long to have Jack Brown among us. The purpose of this website is to share who Jack was, and what he was doing when the Lord called him home.

The navigation menu will take you to some of the documents he left behind for us. His personal testimony, excerpts from his journal, and other items. Stay as long as you like; enjoy Jack's company. We did.
